Demetria D. Ally, RN, CHPN, is a Registered Nurse Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care with extensive experience in direct patient care and as a healthcare manager, trainer and consultant. Throughout her nursing career she has shared her expertise and passion by providing professional and community education. She is a frequent presenter to nurses, social workers and other healthcare professionals on topics related to end-of-life care and health care management. Additionally, Demetria has co-authored two books designed for patient and caregiver education and support: "Treasured Moments" and "Grief, Hope & Loss."
In 2002, Demetria was honored as a Great 100 Nurse of Louisiana. She maintains several professional affiliations and serves as a Hospice Associates Foundation board member and is an active supporter of the Louisiana Hemophilia Foundation.
